Fear of blogging

I'm getting my feet wet here, and it is good for me, I keep telling myself. Even if I'm my only reader I have accomplished something by entering the world of public musings. Hey world, here I come.

Summer being officially ended, I am feeling somewhat philosophical about what I've accomplished from the list of 23 goals Dave and I created in June. Some were longterm, some were short. Does it say something about me that most of the checked-off items were from the latter category? Goals have scared me most of my life
